Division instead reorganised with two Regiments of Jagers (I-III in each), Panzerjager Battalion with a Sturmgeschutz (Assault Gun) Battery, I Artillery Battalion from former Artillery Battalion and III Artillery Battalion from former Flak Battalion. |

Division supposed to be transfered to the Army. This did not happen as Division was mauled during the retreat from Melitopol through the Nogai Steppe to the Dniepr. 10 Luftwaffe Jager Regiment & HQ & III/9 Luftwaffe Jager Battalions were disbanded. Flak Battalion (III) was renamed I/17 Flak Battalion. Only the remains of the Division were transfered to the Army. |
